Rob holds an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and a Master of Business Administration, combining his expertise in physical development with strategic leadership.
Two years ago, Rob left the corporate world to share his passion for sport with families in his community. He brings over 20 years of coaching experience, driven by a genuine love for helping others grow and succeed.
Rob’s commitment to coaching is deeply personal. Having experienced the positive impact of physical activity firsthand, and seeing those same benefits in his three children, all of whom participated in Little Kickers, he is dedicated to creating a fun, supportive environment where children can build confidence, develop skills, and enjoy being active.
Coach Evie
Coaching Manager
Coach Evie has her Bachelor of Business degree from Mount Royal University.
Evie has always enjoyed working with children and brings years of experience that began in her youth. She played soccer throughout much of her childhood, and these experiences have helped develop her strong coaching, organizational, and leadership skills.
She has been a part of the Little Kickers team since May 2022 and loves helping children grow through sport, building their confidence and fostering a lifelong love of being active.
Coach Rodrigo
Coach
Rodrigo is a former professional soccer player with over 30 years of experience in the sport, bringing a wealth of knowledge and passion to his coaching. He holds an Early Childhood Education certificate along with multiple coaching certifications, allowing him to effectively support young players both on and off the field. In addition, Rodrigo has a Master’s degree in Psychology, which helps him create a positive, supportive, and development-focused environment for children.
Rodrigo is passionate about working with kids and is dedicated to helping each child grow in confidence, develop their skills, and enjoy the game in a fun and encouraging setting.
Coach Isabelle
Coach
Coach Isabelle grew up playing competitive soccer in Calgary and has always had a strong passion for the game. She is currently studying Sport and Recreation Management at Mount Royal University.
With five years of coaching experience, she enjoys helping kids build their skills, confidence, and love for soccer. Isabelle is dedicated to creating a positive and supportive environment where every player can grow and have fun.
Coach Micheline
Coach
Micheline is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Education after completing a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, following her passion for working with children. She brings over 10 years of experience in early childhood education and holds her Alberta Child Care Staff Certification, with a strong focus on helping young children build confidence and develop a love for learning through play and positive encouragement.
Growing up, Micheline enjoyed playing soccer and swimming, which helped shape her love for sports and teamwork. At Little Kickers, she loves sharing that passion with children and finds it incredibly rewarding to watch them grow each week—whether they’re learning new skills, gaining confidence, or simply having fun on the field. ⚽
Coach Isabel P
Coach
Isabel is currently attending the University of Calgary, where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She has an extensive soccer background, having played for many years, most recently as a goalkeeper with the Calgary Rangers at the Tier 1 level. Her experience at a high level of competition has helped her develop strong technical skills, discipline, and a deep understanding of the game.
Isabel is passionate about coaching with Little Kickers because it gives her the opportunity to share her love of soccer with young athletes. She enjoys helping children build confidence, learn new skills, and develop a positive relationship with sport in a fun and supportive environment.
Coach Halia
Coach
Halia is currently entering her second year of university, where she is working toward her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology. She brings a strong and diverse athletic background to Little Kickers, having spent 10 years as a competitive gymnast. In addition, Halia played soccer at the U12 level and continued to stay involved in the sport throughout her school years. Her experience also extends to competitive hip hop dance and playing on her school’s volleyball team, giving her a well-rounded understanding of movement, coordination, and teamwork.
Halia loves coaching with Little Kickers because of the positive impact it has on young children. She finds it incredibly rewarding to introduce kids to sports in a fun and supportive environment, helping them build confidence while developing a lifelong love of being active.
Coach Meysam
Coach
Meysam is currently studying at the University of Calgary as a Mathematics undergraduate, with aspirations of pursuing a career in Education. He has also been a Youth Mentor since the age of 18, gaining valuable experience working with and supporting young people. He has a strong soccer background, having played the sport since the age of four. Meysam has competed in the provincial league in Manitoba and continues to stay involved in the game, currently working toward forming a team to compete in the Calgary United Soccer Association (CUSA).
Meysam loves coaching with Little Kickers because of the growth he sees in every child. Watching players develop their skills and confidence each week motivates him to help them reach their full potential in a fun and supportive environment.
Coach Samantha
Administration Manager
Samantha has been part of the Little Kickers team since 2019 and brings both professional experience and a personal connection to the program as a parent of a young soccer player. She holds a Diploma in Journalism from Mount Royal University, as well as a Diploma in Recreation Therapy from Lethbridge College.
Samantha is passionate about living a healthy and active lifestyle, and enjoys cycling, strength training, and snowboarding. Samantha loves working with Little Kickers because it allows her to connect with families and support children as they take their first steps into sport. She finds it incredibly rewarding to be part of each child’s early development, helping them build confidence and begin their journey in a fun and positive environment.
Coach Michael
Coach
Coach Michael has been involved in sports from a very young age, beginning his soccer journey at just two years old. He went on to compete at a high level with Team Alberta and also played varsity football, showcasing his versatility and commitment to athletics. Michael holds a degree in Psychology and brings over five years of coaching experience.
He is passionate about the connection between child development and sport, using his knowledge to create a supportive and engaging environment for young athletes. As a bilingual coach in English and Spanish, he enjoys connecting with a diverse community. Michael loves coaching with Little Kickers because he gets to watch children build confidence, develop skills, and grow both on and off the field in a fun and encouraging setting.
