Coach Ella is currently a Bachelor of Science student in Psychology at the University of Alberta. She has been passionate about sports from a young age, beginning soccer at just two years old, followed by basketball at six, and later playing rugby in high school. Ella has competed at a high level, playing on several Tier 1 club soccer teams as well as a Division 1 women’s team.Ella loves coaching because she enjoys working with children and helping them build confidence while having fun. She is passionate about creating a positive first experience with soccer, fostering an encouraging and supportive environment where every child feels included, proud of themselves, and excited to return each week.
Coach Jaimie
Lead Coach
Coach Jaimie is currently a third-year Psychology student at the University of Alberta. She has experience working with children in a summer camp setting, where she developed strong skills in creating engaging and supportive environments.
Jaimie grew up playing soccer until the age of 12 and has always had a passion for staying active. She loves coaching with Little Kickers because it allows her to bring creativity into each session, using fun themes and imagination to make every class exciting while helping children build confidence and enjoy the game.
Jill
Admin Manager
Jill plays an important role behind the scenes at Little Kickers, supporting families with registrations, class changes, and keeping everyone up to date with program information. She brings a strong passion for sport and community to everything she does.
Jill grew up playing a wide variety of sports and even spent time coaching soccer in her youth. Today, as a parent, she stays actively involved in her children’s athletic journeys—volunteering, cheering them on, and supporting their involvement in sport and community activities.
Jill loves being part of Little Kickers because she believes in the lifelong value of sport. She is passionate about helping children build confidence, resilience, and a love for being active, while fostering important life skills such as teamwork, perseverance, and a growth mindset in a fun and supportive environment.
Coach Madi
Lead Coach
Coach Madi is currently a second-year Psychology student with a Drama minor and plans to pursue a two-year after-degree in Education. She has a strong passion for working with children and creating engaging, supportive environments for learning and development.
Madi has a background in competitive cheerleading, which she participated in for seven years. During that time, she began volunteering as a coach-in-training at just 12 years old, working with children ages 5–7. She later discovered a love for musical theatre in high school, further developing her creativity and ability to connect with others.
Madi loves coaching with Little Kickers because she enjoys watching children grow, learn, and express themselves. She brings energy, creativity, and fun into every session—often through her signature silly socks—and is passionate about creating a positive, encouraging environment where every child can build confidence and develop a love for being active.
Coach Teagan
Lead Coach
Coach Teagan is currently in her first year of a Social Work Diploma and is working toward a Bachelor of Social Work at MacEwan University. Her studies focus on child development and working with adolescents, helping her build a strong foundation for supporting young children in positive and meaningful ways.
Teagan grew up playing both soccer and hockey in St. Albert, participating in house league and A/AA levels through high school. Her experiences in sport helped shape her confidence and foster a lifelong appreciation for staying active.
Teagan loves coaching with Little Kickers because of the opportunity to make a positive impact in children’s lives. Inspired by the coaches who supported her growing up, she is passionate about creating a fun, encouraging environment where kids can build confidence, develop skills, and discover a love for sport.
Coach Kwame
Head Coach/Coach Manager
Coach Kwame has a strong passion for sports and has been involved in athletics both as a player and a coach. He has coached at the high school level in football, soccer, and basketball, and also played football at the post-secondary level. Kwame holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and is currently pursuing a Post-Baccalaureate in Behaviour Analysis with a focus on sports at MacEwan University.
Kwame loves coaching with Little Kickers because he enjoys helping children grow not only physically, but mentally as well. He is passionate about building confidence, encouraging development, and creating a positive environment where every child can thrive both on and off the field.
Coach Alyssa
Coach Manager
Coach Alyssa is currently pursuing her education in nursing. Her studies have helped her develop strong communication skills and a passion for supporting others, especially in caring and team-focused environments.
Alyssa has been involved in sports since the age of 3, with a strong background in soccer. She played for over 10 years at both the community and club levels, and also participated in the soccer program at Vimy Ridge Academy throughout junior high and high school.
Alyssa loves coaching with Little Kickers because it gives her the opportunity to share her passion for soccer with young players. She finds it incredibly rewarding to see each child’s progress, excitement, and growing love for the game in a fun and supportive environment.
Coach Georgia
Assistant Coach
Coach Georgia is currently a high school student at Archbishop O’Leary High School.
Georgia has played soccer for several seasons and has always enjoyed being involved in sports and working as part of a team. Her experience in sport has helped her develop a strong appreciation for teamwork, effort, and staying active.
Georgia loves coaching with Little Kickers because she enjoys working with children and helping them learn new skills in a fun and supportive environment. She finds it especially rewarding to see each child’s confidence grow and their excitement for the game build week after week.
Coach Haseeb
Lead Coach
Coach Haseeb completed his Bachelor of Science in April 2025, double majoring in Biology and Psychology, and is set to begin a Master’s program in Counselling Psychology in May 2026.
Haseeb has been a competitive athlete in multiple sports, including soccer and badminton, since elementary school. He played competitive soccer through high school and continues to stay involved in sport through coaching and working with children.
He loves coaching with Little Kickers because it allows him to work with a wide range of children, be a positive role model, and help foster a love for sport. Seeing kids build confidence and enjoy the game brings him a strong sense of fulfillment.
