Lead Coach
Little Kickers is a child-centered soccer program for children aged 18 months to 8 years. Our classes combine age-appropriate soccer skills with movement, coordination, confidence building, and social development. For our youngest participants, sessions focus on early childhood development through play-based movement, while older children progress into more structured soccer skill development, teamwork, and game understanding.
Role Overview
Youth Soccer Coaches leads fun, structured, and engaging soccer sessions tailored to different developmental stages from toddler to early elementary ages. Coaches create a positive environment where children build confidence, physical literacy, and a love of sport.
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Youth Soccer Coaches who enjoy working with young children and want to make a positive impact through sport and physical activity.
Key Responsibilities
Lead engaging soccer sessions for children aged 18 months to 8 years
Deliver age-appropriate activities ranging from fundamental movement to soccer
skills
Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants
Encourage confidence, participation, and enjoyment
Support positive behaviour and group engagement
Communicate warmly and professionally with parents/caregivers
Assist with setup and pack-down of equipment
Participate in training and ongoing coaching development

Compensation & Development
Hourly coaching pays: $17.60 – $21.00, based on experience

Requirements:
Ideal Candidate
Enjoys working with young children
Energetic, positive, and confident leading groups
Interest in sport, physical literacy, and child development
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable and responsible
Basic soccer knowledge is an asset
Experience with children (coaching, childcare, camps, teaching, placements,
etc.) preferred
First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
