Saskatoon Frequently Asked Questions
What is a monthly rolling class?
A monthly rolling class is a session that runs all year round at selected locations. Instead of booking in fixed terms, you pay a monthly subscription, giving you the flexibility to stay enrolled for as long, or as short, a time as you like. If you wish to cancel, simply email us with 30 days’ notice.
We run classes rain or shine. Sessions will only be cancelled in cases of extreme weather, including lightning, air quality index (AQI) above 7, or temperatures exceeding 37°C. Most decisions to cancel due to extreme weather are made on site. Please note that classes cancelled for extreme weather are not refunded, and we do not offer make-up sessions.
What sets Little Kickers apart from other soccer programs?
At Little Kickers, we pride ourselves on delivering a high-quality experience for every child. Our sessions are led by paid, trained coaches who follow a carefully designed curriculum to support development and enjoyment. We use an academy-style approach, focusing on maximizing each child’s touches on the ball to build confidence, skills, and a love for the game.
Does my child need any soccer experience?
Not at all! Most children join Little Kickers with little or no soccer experience. Our classes are designed to introduce children to soccer in a fun, supportive, and pressure-free environment. The focus is on participation, learning, and having fun.
When do I get my jersey and shorts?
Your coach will have your kit (jersey and shorts) at your first class. We bring multiple sizes to each class so we will always have the right fit for your child.
At this time, we do not offer trial classes.
To provide the best experience for every child, we carefully manage our class sizes and coach-to-child ratios. Reserving spaces for trial participants can limit availability for families who are ready to join the program.
We also find that many children need more than one class to feel comfortable in a new environment. It is completely normal for children to spend their first class observing, building confidence, and getting to know their coach and classmates. In most cases, children become increasingly engaged and comfortable over their first few sessions.
Our experienced coaches are skilled at helping children settle in at their own pace, and we encourage families to give their child a few classes to fully experience everything Little Kickers has to offer.
